The company Flytec wanted to upgrade the
famous Victorinox Swiss Army knife by adding an altimeter and thermometer. So they went to see Hans-Rudolf Schiess and asked him to build in the new functions.
He took one look at it and replied: „It’s done. Is that it, or do you want anything else in there too?“ Since then, you can not only cut with this knife, you can also measure.
